This valve spring compressor tool is designed to quickly remove valve springs or replace valve stem seals without removing the cylinder head. Fits many cars, vans, and light trucks.NOTE: Does not apply to valve deep-set engines.
SPECIFICATION: The valve spring compressor fits valve spring seats up to 1-13/16 inches in diameter; 1-3/8 to 5-5/8 inch jaw openings; 5-7/8 inch throat clearances.
MATERIAL: This valve spring compression tool is made of high quality metal and is durable, rust and corrosion resistant.
EASY TO USE
The overhead valve spring compressor has two jaw clamps of different lengths that securely hold the valve spring to ensure that it can be compressed accurately; the legs are designed with a built-in offset that compensates for spring windage to keep the tool upright and stable during use.By compressing the valve spring keeper to expose the valve keeper, remove the keeper, release the tool and then remove the spring.
